Praat is a free and open source speech analyzer software download filed under graphics software and made available by Paul Boersma and David Weenink for Windows.

The present windowed version of Praat has 44 types of windows, and 5500 menu commands. So for the iPad we would have to change the design a bit. For instance, an app that shows the waveform and spectrogram of a sound you just recorded.
