After 9 seemingly strong years of being husband and wife, Jensen Ackles announced in a heartbreaking tweet on Thursday that he and Danneel Harris-Ackles are separating. “I’d like to take this time to publicly say that me and my wife Danneel are separating,” he wrote. “It’s been 9 wonderful years with 3 beautiful children, and we hope to remain close throughout their childhoods for their sake.” He continued to say that his reasoning for the sudden announcement was to stop the rumors that were quickly spreading surrounding the couple and their relationship which seemed to be growing apart. Ackles did not mention what led to their decision to divorce, and he has not responded to Channel 45 News for statement.
