Microsoft Project Office 365



Project Online Professional or Project Online Premium: If you have a subscription to one of the cloud-based solutions of Project you won't see an option to install it unless you have an assigned license. If you're the Microsoft 365 admin responsible for assigning licenses, see Assign licenses to users.

  1. This is the most robust of the Office 365 project tools. You can sync team calendars and other events with Outlook. You can also integrate your SharePoint Project site with Microsoft Project, the standalone project management software that certified Project Managers use. The downside to a Microsoft SharePoint Project Site can be costly.

  3. Applies to Project Service app versions 2.x and 1.x. Provide a space where team members for a project can collaborate on project documents, view the team’s calendar, and have group conversations by creating an Office 365 Group for that project. Go to Project Service Projects. Click the project you want to work on.

Provide a space where team members for a project can collaborate on project documents, view the team’s calendar, and have group conversations by creating an Office 365 Group for that project.

Project
  1. Go to Project Service > Projects.

  2. Click the project you want to work on.

  3. In the bar across the top of the screen, select the down arrow next to the project name, and then click Office 365 Groups.

  4. Click Create Office 365 Group. You’ll receive an email when your group is ready.
